100% Virtual Care • Currently Serving New Hampshire

When PT Hasn't Worked

You've done the exercises. Why are you still hurting?

Persistent pain is rarely as simple as one muscle, one joint, or one exercise.

If physical therapy helped only temporarily, did not help at all, or left you feeling like something was missing, it may be time to look at the bigger picture.

Mind in Motion PT considers how movement, strength, mobility, pain, habits, confidence, daily life, and the nervous system can influence how you feel and function.

You are not looking for another exercise sheet. You are looking for a better understanding of what is keeping you from moving forward.

You've tried PT before

You followed the plan, did the exercises, and still did not get the lasting progress you hoped for.

The pain keeps coming back

You may feel better for a while, only to have symptoms return when you increase activity or try to get back to normal life.

Movement doesn't feel safe anymore

Pain can change the way you move and how much you trust your body, even after the original problem has changed.

No one has looked at the whole picture

You want someone to consider more than just the painful area and understand how everything fits together.

A Different Approach to Physical Therapy

Your body is more than the place that hurts.

Persistent pain can be influenced by more than muscles and joints alone.

How you move, how strong and mobile you feel, how your nervous system responds, your daily habits, your confidence in movement, and the demands of your everyday life can all shape how you feel and function.

Mind in Motion PT takes time to understand how those pieces fit together so your care can be built around you, not just your symptoms.

The goal is not simply to give you more exercises. It is to help you understand your body and build a path forward that makes sense for your life.

Movement

How your body moves during everyday activities and the tasks that matter to you.

Strength

The capacity and confidence your body has to handle the demands of daily life.

Mobility

How freely and comfortably you can move through the ranges your activities require.

Nervous System

How your brain and nervous system process movement, protection, sensitivity, and pain.

Confidence

How safe and capable you feel using your body and returning to activities.

Daily Life

Your routines, habits, environment, responsibilities, goals, and the activities that matter to you.

Your care should reflect how your body, your experiences, and your life actually work together.

Dominique Jones, PT, DPT, conducting a virtual physical therapy session with a client via laptop

    100% Virtual Care

Yes, Physical Therapy Can Work Virtually.

Physical therapy is about much more than hands-on treatment. Through a virtual session, Dominique can watch how you move, listen to your experience, guide you through specific movements and exercises, and help identify patterns that may be affecting your confidence and function.

Because sessions happen in your own environment, care can also focus directly on the movements, routines, and activities that are part of your everyday life.

Instead of trying to recreate a traditional clinic through a screen, Mind in Motion PT uses virtual care to create a more personalized, collaborative experience centered on education, movement, problem-solving, and helping you build confidence in your own body.

What Can We Look at Through a Screen?

    Movement

How your body moves during functional activities and specific movement tasks.

    Mobility

How comfortably and confidently you move through different ranges of motion.

    Strength

How your body handles resistance, repeated movement, and everyday physical demands.

    Balance & Control

How you control movement and respond during different tasks.

    Walking & Function

How you walk, transition between positions, use stairs when appropriate, and perform everyday activities.

    Exercise Technique

How you perform your prescribed movements so Dominique can provide real-time feedback and adjustments.

Your Real Life Becomes Part of the Treatment

One advantage of virtual care is that Dominique can see you where life actually happens.

Rather than practicing only in a clinic, you can work on movement in the environment where you walk, exercise, work, climb stairs, complete daily tasks, and manage your symptoms.

This can make it easier to develop practical strategies that fit your actual routine rather than asking you to translate everything from a clinic into your life afterward.

    Your Time Is Your Time

    One-on-One With Dominique

Your virtual physical therapy visits are private, one-on-one sessions with Dominique Jones, PT, DPT. There is time to talk about what you have noticed, what has improved, what still feels difficult, and what you want to work toward. Your treatment plan can then be adjusted based on your progress, your goals, and how your body is responding.

    Your Initial Evaluation

The initial virtual physical therapy evaluation is approximately 60 minutes. Dominique will take time to understand your history with pain, previous treatment, current activity, goals, and how your symptoms are affecting your life. You will also move through a virtual movement assessment so Dominique can observe how you move, where you may feel restricted or uncertain, and how confident and comfortable different movements feel. From there, you will begin building a personalized plan around your needs and goals.

    Your Follow-Up Visits

Follow-up visits are approximately 45 minutes. You and Dominique will review what you have noticed since your last visit, discuss what is improving or still challenging, assess how you are responding to your current plan, and make adjustments as needed.

Your program is designed to evolve with you rather than remain a static list of exercises.

Support Does Not End When the Call Does

Depending on your individual needs and goals, your plan between visits may include:

    • Personalized exercise videos
    • Activity recommendations
    • Walking programs
    • Sleep strategies
    • Stress-management strategies
    • Additional education and resources
    • Practical tools for everyday life

Clients can also contact Dominique by email with questions, comments, or concerns between visits. Expected response time is approximately 48 hours.

Virtual Care May Be Especially Helpful If...

    • Traveling to appointments is difficult or inconvenient.
    • You are more comfortable receiving care from home.
    • You want your treatment to relate directly to your everyday environment.
    • You have persistent pain and want a whole-person approach.
    • You have tried traditional care but still feel stuck.
    • You want more education and understanding, not simply another exercise sheet.
    • You value one-on-one attention and personalized care.

Virtual care is not appropriate for every situation. Dominique focuses primarily on adults with persistent pain and will help determine whether virtual physical therapy is appropriate for your needs.

    Your Physical Therapist

    Meet Dominique Jones, PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy|Founder of Mind in Motion Physical Therapy

Dominique Jones, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist and founder of Mind in Motion Physical Therapy.

With approximately 10 years of clinical experience across a variety of healthcare settings, Dominique has worked with people facing a wide range of conditions, movement challenges, and goals.

Over the past several years, she has intentionally focused her professional development on persistent and chronic pain, including how pain can affect not only the body, but also movement, confidence, activity, sleep, stress, and everyday life.

Dominique holds specialized certification as a Psychologically Informed Pain Practitioner, PIPP, which has provided additional education and tools for helping people better understand persistent pain and the many factors that can influence the pain experience.

Why Dominique Built Mind in Motion

Dominique saw how often people living with persistent pain moved through treatment after treatment without feeling like anyone had fully connected the dots.

They may have completed exercises, undergone imaging, tried medications or injections, or even had surgery, yet still felt limited by pain and uncertain about what to do next.

Mind in Motion was created to provide something different:

    • More time to listen.
    • More education about what pain actually is.
    • More attention to the whole person.
    • More individualized movement and treatment planning.
    • More support between appointments.
    • And a care experience built around what someone wants to get back to doing, not simply the body part that hurts.

“I want people to better understand their pain, build confidence in their bodies, and get back to the life they want to live.”

    Dominique Jones, PT, DPT

    A Whole-Person Approach

    Treatment Starts With Listening

Dominique believes physical therapy should be about more than identifying a painful area and prescribing exercises.

Your pain experience is personal. That means understanding your history, what you have already tried, what affects your symptoms, how you move, what you are worried about, what you have stopped doing, and what matters most to you.

From there, care can consider movement, strength, mobility, nervous system responses, sleep, stress, daily habits, activity, confidence, and the realities of your everyday life.
